This weekend we decided just to drive. Saturday we went on a quest to find some more manhole covers for my collection (more on that some other time) and ended up in the mountains to the west of base marveling at how gorgeous the area is. Thanks to our trusty iPhones I started looking up where we were and found an old .pdf about trips around Fussa. So Sunday we took a drive to a waterfall not far from where we turned around the day before. We passed this cool bridge supported by an arch that came diagonally out of the creek valley.
Once we found the tiny pull-off to the parking lot we took off walking down a dirt path surrounded by green to the sound of a rushing creek. It was beautiful.
I think we'll be back there soon.
